Autumn is a good time for aesthetic medicine treatments

Reduced exposure to sunlight is one of the reasons why autumn is often chosen as a convenient time to start certain cosmetic treatments, including laser procedures and chemical peels. Following such treatments, the skin may be more sensitive to UV radiation, so a period when it is easier to limit sun exposure can simply be more convenient. This does not, of course, mean that sun protection can be neglected in autumn. SPF remains an important part of skincare, particularly after treatments.

CFU is a non-surgical fascial lifting treatment. Focused ultrasound waves reach the deeper layers of the tissue, creating controlled points of coagulation. The treatment is designed to improve skin firmness and elasticity and gradually enhance the facial contour.

“The treatment is comfortable and can be performed at any time of the year, without the need for repeated sessions. Even a single treatment a year can significantly stimulate the remodelling of the skin,” says Marta Szelejewska, cosmetologist at Aqua Medica Spa.

In microneedling radiofrequency, radiofrequency energy is delivered into the deeper layers of the skin, where it creates a controlled thermal effect. The treatment is used to improve skin firmness and density and to stimulate its remodelling. The results develop gradually as the skin's natural regenerative processes take place, adds the cosmetologist.

• Another treatment available as part of the special offer is the relaxing back and head massage for mothers and daughters, “Harmony of Closeness”. From 1 to 18 October, the 50-minute treatment is available for PLN 364 instead of PLN 520.

Autumn is a good time to take a closer look at your skin and consider what it actually needs. This does not necessarily mean booking a weekend away or an entire stay.
