Aquapark now available to Międzyzdroje residents on preferential terms

“Active Międzyzdroje” – a new programme launched as a result of cooperation between the Mayor of Międzyzdroje and Aqua & Bel Mare Resort

Residents of Międzyzdroje who hold the Międzyzdroje Resident Card can now use the aquapark at Aqua Resort on preferential terms. The “Active Międzyzdroje – Water Recreation” programme offers reduced admission to the water zone, as well as free activities for children and seniors. The cooperation between the city and Aqua Resort has been planned for three autumn–spring seasons and will remain in effect until 2029.

The agreement establishing the programme was signed at the end of September and comes into force on 1 October 2026.

By bringing together two well-known local brands, we are strengthening the appeal of Międzyzdroje as a tourist destination while also contributing to the quality of life of its residents. Programmes such as Active Child, Active Toddler and Active Senior demonstrate that tourism, business and the needs of the local community can successfully come together to create lasting value,” says Krzysztof Kraskowski, General Manager of Aqua Resort.

Holders of the Międzyzdroje Resident Card can benefit from reduced admission prices. A three-hour pass providing access to the water zone, saunas and gym costs PLN 34.30 for adults. Children and young people up to the age of 17 can use the same offer for PLN 24.50. An OPEN pass covering eight three-hour visits is also available. For Resident Card holders, the price is PLN 244.51.

The programme also includes activities designed for specific groups of residents. The “Active Toddler” programme is aimed at children from birth to six years of age and takes place with the participation of a parent or guardian. Its aim is to help children become comfortable in the water, learn safe behaviour in the pool and develop physical skills through play. “Active Toddler” sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Participation is free of charge for Międzyzdroje Resident Card holders.

The “Active Senior” programme has been created with older residents in mind. It consists of water-based exercise sessions held on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. As with the activities for younger children, participation is free of charge for Resident Card holders.

The programme also includes swimming lessons for school-age children. Details concerning the organisation of individual groups and the timetable are being arranged as part of the programme.

The programme will be implemented over three autumn–spring seasons. This means that the preferential offer is intended primarily to serve local residents outside the main summer season, when Międzyzdroje welcomes the largest number of tourists.

To take part in the programme, residents must hold a Międzyzdroje Resident Card. The card is free of charge and issued in the holder’s name. It can also be obtained for children under the applicant’s care, with the exception of children under six, who are eligible for the benefits available to their parents. The card is available to people living within the municipality of Międzyzdroje who file their income tax return with the Tax Office in Kamień Pomorski and indicate Międzyzdroje as their place of residence.

“Active Międzyzdroje – Water Recreation” is the first cooperation between the city and Aqua & Bel Mare Resort on such a broad scale. It covers both individual use of the resort’s facilities and organised activities for different age groups. For local residents, the programme primarily means the opportunity to use the swimming pool and recreational facilities on preferential terms throughout most of the year.
